AVOIDING STRESS AT WORK!

How to avoid stress at work?

Jobs – itself a factor of stress – said the expert. – No wonder they say: do not mistake the one who does not do anything. If you sit at home all day and sit back, we stress, of course, is much less. But most of us still go to work, or, at least, are working remotely at home. And any job – is communication, responsibility and, of course, problems. No matter how good you are or were an employee, “and good marksman may miss.” No one is immune from error, inadequate colleagues and superiors, or from normal fatigue.

So, what steps can we take to our work does not become a nightmare?

First of all, get your health, because it depends on it, our performance.

To the strength and energy you have not changed, you should eat healthy food, eat more vitamins, fiber, fruits and vegetables. Instead of the usual best teas to drink herbal infusions, they are much more fragrant and more useful than fruit tea bags.

You should not coffee, tobacco and alcohol.

It is also advisable to do at least some kind of sport, or at least not to neglect the morning exercises.

Make your workplace more comfortable.

No matter you are in the office or at home. Your table should be placed in a convenient location, a chair or chair where you sit, too, must be comfortable enough, considering the fact that you will spend on it a long time.

Also, do not interfere to restore order in the workplace: a pile of papers and unnecessary things will distract you from the performance of official tasks. In addition, in the mountain of trash is difficult to find something you need. The rule is to do the cleaning on your desk at least once a week.

If possible, make a plan for the day and assign tasks in order of importance and urgency.

In a paper to be solved various problems, it is important to learn how to prioritize. If we have to deal with several cases at once, we sometimes get lost and grabs alternately for one, then another, without bringing any case before the end. In other cases, we strive to meet first with the case, which requires a lot of time and energy. The result is stress, and work has not been completed.

The priority is for you to be urgent. If a project must pass today or tomorrow, handle it for him. And the one thing to take a week to wait. If everything must be done in one day, do all the little things at first, and then pull the big ones. You will see that the work went much more productive.

Solve problems as they occur.

Sometimes, if it’s not very urgent, we put it “for later.” Say, to call someone to talk to someone, make a document, send a letter … Gradually, these “non-urgent” cases accumulated, and yet you still have to dig! Therefore it is better to address the problem as quickly as possible, then to not have to deal with it in a mode of time pressure.

Delegate duties to other employees.

Do not make the exploits of workaholism, doing the work of three or four. Remember that the organization has other employees. Refer to them what is not enough time with you. If such employees do not, and you have to work for 12 hours a day, you should think about changing the situation. Either let the authorities looking for someone to help you, or enjoy a search of other work. No salary is not worth your mental and physical health!

Do not forget to take breaks.

Do not engage in any case too long: your productivity will decline over time, because you are tired, if not physically, then mentally. Or to change your activity, or simply interrupted, to relax – to walk, to go to the buffet or chat with colleagues. Even if you have a lot of work to do at least a five-minute break every two hours.
