4 Great Habits Of The Most Successful

By Matt Mayberry

The most successful people in this world maintain and master good habits.  They realize that what they do on a daily basis and where they focus their energy matters deeply when it comes to them reaching their goals and dreams in life.  The habits you have picked up over the past couple of years are responsible for the amount of money you earn, how efficient you are, your happiness levels, and the quality of your personal relationships.
The sad news is that most people don’t have very good habits.  What you have done on a daily basis for the past two years is a direct reflection of where you are right this moment.   The great news about this is that if you are unhappy with where you are at or feel you deserve more out of life, you must develop and change your habits.  To achieve high levels of success no matter what your chosen field may be, you must start to develop the habits of the highly successful.
Below you will find what I feel are 4 extremely important habits that will help you reach your goals in life and live the life of your dreams.  Whether you are an athlete looking to win a national championship or a small business owner looking to raise profit margins, these 4 habits can help move you forward in life.
1.) Energy:  Learning how to direct your energy towards your most rewarding tasks and projects is extremely crucial in order for you to achieve high levels of success.  One of the biggest mistakes that most people make is direct their energy towards low-valued tasks.  The return rate is very low which in the end, will not help them get to where they want to go in life.  When you waste your energy on low-valued tasks, you run out of energy for the high-valued tasks.  The tasks that really matter.  Take a look at everything you have going on right now in your life.  Pay close attention and really ask yourself what the high-valued tasks are.  The tasks that have the potential to bring the most reward to you.  Once you find these high-valued tasks, that’s where you from now on direct most of your energy.
2.)  Most Important Goal is Always Being Worked On:  Think of what is your most important goal right this moment.  If you had to pick one goal that would make everything else in your life tick, this is it.  The most successful never lose sight of what their major goal is in life.  They are continually looking for ways to take the proper steps to reach goal achievement or if need to, switching their direction and taking a different plan of action to eventually reach their destination.  Successful people understand what is a waste of their time.
3.)  Project and Task Completion:  Being able to start something and follow through to finish something you begin is a key to long-term success.  Picture yourself already achieving your projects and tasks.  Take note of how you feel visualizing yourself getting the job done.  The subconscious mind can tell no difference what so ever whether the event is fake or a reality.  The more you can picture yourself following through and completing important tasks, the more determined you will be to actually do so.  The most successful never start a task and let it go unfinished.  This is a habit that many have, but not the successful.
4.)  PMA (Positive Mental Attitude):   Almost 60% of our thoughts are negative.  If you do nothing about those negative thoughts and continue to go on with your day, chances are you will be settling for average.  You have to day in and day out continually feed your mind with positive and uplifting thoughts.  Staying positive in a negative world is crucial for your success.  A great percentage of successful people have all experienced some sort of setback or failure.  They could have just stopped their journey right there and called it quits.  Instead, they had a positive mental attitude about themselves and their abilities, which gave them the power needed to continue along and reach their goals.  Creating a positive mental attitude could be one of your most important habits that you end up incorporating on a daily basis.  Don’t think how others think.  Control your thoughts and watch your self-confidence sky rocket along with your success!
No matter where you are in life, there is always more to reach for.  When you constantly strive to become a better person, refine your skill set, and invest in your future daily, you become more as a person.  When you become more as a person, your value increases.  The more your value increases, the more successful you will become.  And it all starts with your habits.
